Hand building with porcelain creates a unique surface and any minor imperfections such as superficial cracks and indentations are part of the technique and add to the charm and character of each piece. As with any hand made item, please handle it kindly and I’d always advise gently hand washing to prolong your item’s life. 

The base of porcelain objects can discolour over time - if that happens to your pot a good scrub with a sponge or a rub with some fine wet and dry sandpaper will sort it out (don’t worry porcelain is vitrified - so it’s tough stuff!). But any questions please just get in touch with me. Thank you.
